Retail Consulting covers a very broad definition of roles. It typically implies going outside of your organization for additional resources when projects outweigh available resources. Our retail consulting experience provides key insights into retail processes, best practices and highlights potential problems.
- Business practices
- Process and procedures
- Software evaluation
- Selection
- Pre-project planning
- Advanced analysis
RPE's Approach
We prefer to take a different approach. For RPE, retail consulting is about providing resources when required, and we prefer to think of ourselves as part of your team, not an outsider.
RPE operates differently in that we establish meaningful, long-term relationships with our clients. RPE aspires to provide the highest level of quality and services, which provides the incentive for clients to return. It's this relationship that works out best for both your organization and RPE.
RPE works with your staff to achieve your goals. RPE will readily fuse resources in a coordinated effort to achieve the goals you desire.
And, we have the talent. RPE recruits only senior level talent with retail expertise. RPE works with popular vendors' applications, so our talent already has experience in your software. Extending the relationship means you don't have to train an outsider for every new project. We work with you and beside you.
Consulting Services
Consider RPE as your business partner in the following areas:
Staff Augmentation
Consider supplementing your staff with additional project resources from RPE. Our resources have a variety of skill sets and "wear many hats."
Retail Consultants
Our retail consulting addresses the "big picture," and are available for retail consultancy, business practices, and software evaluations.
- Project Managers
Our project managers fulfill the traditional project management role, for both large and small scale projects. We have also served in project or team leader roles, working with internal or other external staff.
- Business Analysts
Business analysts are available to root out user requirements, prepare functional or technical specifications or other tasks such as (limited) auditing of IT transactions and balancing between applications or systems.
- Programmer/Analysts
Within our development staff we have a multitude of computer language, databases, operating systems and hardware platforms.
- QA Analysts
Resources are available to ensure value is achieved on projects by making certain that the project achieves a functioning enhancement to your organization. QA analysts supplement existing control systems.
- Trainers
RPE has trainers in many products, from a multitude of vendors. These trainers are highly experienced, but more importantly, know how to teach. RPE has training facilities or we can conduct training on site at your location. RPE is a certified JDA Software trainer.
- Documentation Specialists
Documentation is probably the most neglected task in IT. There seemingly never is enough time to address this task prior to the implementation, and resources are immediately diverted post-implementation to more "important" tasks. Consider RPE for documenting your systems. This includes writing training manuals, technical documentation, system and data flows and more. RPE also has multi-media capabilities to produce videos with screens, narratives, graphics and more. On-line videos provide an alternative when classroom training is not feasible and provide a library of functional support.
