Our Policy Generally
RPE takes your privacy concerns seriously and does not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit www.rpesolutions.com (the “Site“) or via its electronic newsletters unless you choose to provide such information to RPE. As explained more fully below, when you choose to provide RPE with information about yourself or your company, RPE uses that information solely for the stated purpose for which RPE invited you to submit such information, such as, to respond to your request for information about RPE. Information you submit to RPE through the Services will not be shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to respond to your inquiries or requests. But, if you enter into separate agreements with RPE, such information may be governed by the terms of those agreements. RPE reserves the right at all times to disclose any information you provide as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, court of law or governmental request.
What Information Does the Site Automatically Gather?
As you browse the Site or respond to our electronic newsletters, our web servers and data entry fields may collect information about you, your visit, viewing or use, but not about you personally unless you are notified at that time that we are doing so. For example, we may monitor statistics such as:
- How many people visit the Site, use the electronic newsletters or other Services;
- Which pages people visit on the Site, electronic newsletters or other Services;
- From which domains our visitors come and the names, addresses and phone numbers of those who “opt in” or do not “opt out” of our electronic newsletters and other correspondence; and
- Which browsers people use to visit the Site.
RPE may use these statistics or information to improve the Site and its other Services, to monitor their performance, and to make the Site and other Services easier for you and other visitors to use. RPE will disclose information RPE maintains when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. RPE also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency’s request.
Agents and contractors of RPE who have access to personally identifiable information are required to protect this information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice by, for example, not using the information for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for RPE .
Although RPE takes appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, RPE cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Notice. Inadvertent disclosures may result, for example, when third parties misrepresent their identities in asking the site for access to personally identifiable information about themselves for purposes of correcting possible factual errors in the data. RPE is also not responsible for any unlawful or unauthorized “hacking” or access of its or your information. RPE does not represent or warrant that it encrypts data or that it utilizes any specific level of security protocols, if any.
What information does this Site collect about your company?
From the “Contact Us” section of the Site, electronic newsletters or other similar aspects of the Services, you may be asked to provide RPE with certain information relating to you or your company. For example, if you are interested in having an RPE representative contact you or your company concerning offers of our products or Services, or to receive our electronic newsletter, when you go to the “Contact Us” section, you will be asked to provide certain required information such as name and e-mail address. Similarly, when you go to other areas of the Site or newsletter, such as, “White Papers” and “Newsletter,” you will be asked to provide some basic information in order for RPE to respond to your inquiry appropriately. Importantly, you should not provide RPE with any confidential or proprietary information through these or any other areas of the Site or Services since RPE is under no obligation to protect any such information unless and until RPE has signed a confidentiality agreement with you or your company covering such information.
What personal information does the Site collect?
From information gathering sections of the Site or other Services (like the “Employment Opportunities”), RPE may post certain employee positions with RPE for which you are invited to apply by sending a copy of your resume to RPE via facsimile or e-mail. RPE uses the information you provide when applying for a position at RPE solely for purposes of considering you for that position, and RPE does not share such information with any third party, absent your express consent.
