Data Center Operations

We are seeking experienced Data Center Operators with a proven track record to join our team. You will establish, maintain and monitor computer operations center processes, schedules, reporting and standards, as well as provide technical leadership and operations training.

  • Provide computer operations documentation and checklists.
  • Responsible for continuous trouble free operation of computer systems.
  • Ensure adherence to prescribed schedules and operating policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of operations personnel.
  • Make recommendations regarding improved operating systems, tools and procedures.
  • Respond accordingly during system emergencies to minimize impact.
  • Investigate incidents in the production environment, develop incident reports and other follow up items to the customer base.

RPE currently utilizes a nationwide PPO health insurance plan. Among the in network benefits associated with this plan are low co-pays, large selection of covered hospitals and doctors, prescription drug benefits and a wide range of covered services.

RPE currently maintains dental insurance through with a nationwide selection of dentists included in the plan. While you can go to any dentist in the country, those dentists that participate in the plan have agreed to a cost structure on covered procedures that eliminate the costs exceed usual and customary charges for services’ not covered by insurance. 

RPE’s dental insurance provides low deductible and low calendar year out of pocket maximums. While tailored towards preventative care, coverage is provided on three levels:

  • Preventative Care Services (100% covered post deductible) – includes oral exams, cleanings, x-rays and other preventative treatments.
  • Basic Services (80% covered post deductible) – includes filings, extractions, oral surgery (except procedures covered under medical plan), general anesthesia, etc.
  • Major Services (50% covered post deductible) – includes root canal treatment, periodontal disease treatment, teeth replacement, crowns, etc.

RPE currently maintains its disability insurance that includes Short Term disability coverage, Long Term disability coverage, company paid Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage. All coverage is 100% paid for by RPE. 

Short Term Disability:

  • Weekly Income Benefit – the weekly income benefit will be 60% of earnings up to a maximum benefit of $1,500.
  • Maximum Benefit Period – benefits, for one period of disability will be paid up to a maximum of 12 weeks.
  • Day Benefits Begin – benefits will be paid from the eight consecutive day of disability.

 

Long Term Disability:

  • Monthly Income Benefit – the monthly income benefit is equal to an amount up to 60% of covered monthly earnings up to the maximum monthly benefit.
  • Maximum Monthly Benefit – $10,000 (this is equal to a maximum covered earnings of $16,667).
  • Maximum Benefit Period – to Age 65.
  • Maximum Benefit – two times earnings, rounded to the next higher $1,000, subject to a maximum of $100,000.
  • Maximum Benefit – two times earnings, rounded to the next higher $1,000, subject to a maximum of $100,000.

We recognize that a secure retirement is one of the goals of our associates. We offer programs for associates to work toward that goal. In these programs, RPE contributes towards the employee’s retirement future along with pre-tax contributions from the employee themselves. These retirement programs are the RPE 401k Plan and the RPE Profit Sharing plan.

RPE 401k Plan:

  • All full time associates are eligible to enroll in the plan at the start of the next calendar quarter upon completion of 90 days of employment.
  • Pre tax employee deferrals up to the maximum allowed by law.
  • Employer matches contributions of 50% on up to the first 6% contributed by the employee.
  • 17 different quality investment options.
  • Ability to rollover previous employer 401k plans into our plan.
  • Ability to take loans from your 401k. The interest charged on the loan is paid back into your own account.
  • Ability to continue to make pre tax deferrals while you pay back a 401k loan.

 

RPE Profit Sharing Plan:

  • All RPE associates are eligible.
  • RPE contributes 3% of your total annual salary into your profit sharing account.
  • 17 different quality investment options.
  • Payment into plan is made after the end of the fiscal year.

We recognize at RPE that all associates need to balance their work life with their personal life. We also know that when an employee utilizes their time off, their quality of work improves. We offer our associates a rich package of personal time to ensure that they can maintain the work/life balance. There are two components to time off at RPE, vacation time and paid holidays.

Vacation Time

  • All full time RPE associates accrue vacation time on a monthly basis.
  • Vacation time accrues from the date of hire.
  • RPE consultants accrue 120 hours of vacation time per year.
  • Vacation time can begin to be utilized upon completion of 90 days of employment (subject to approval by Project Manager and/or Management).
  • To encourage associates to utilize their time off benefits, no vacation time carries over from year to year.
